Karapandzic

A Bosnian native, Alen Karapandzic left his mark on Danville Soccer while only playing three seasons. Alen graduated a year early from Danville High School to pursue his collegiate soccer dreams. As 3-year varsity starter, he led one of the most talented classes in DHS history to 3 All A State Final Fours, 3 KHSAA District Championships, 2 KHSAA Regional Championships and 2 KHSAA State Elite Eight runs. His team’s records were 55-17-3, which is the most wins in a 3-year span over the 40 years of the program. Alen was selected as 1st team KHSSCA All-State in both 2006 and 2007 which made him the only DHS player to earn two 1st team all-state selections. He was one of the best talents in the state and well respected for his goal-scoring ability. He scored 73 goals over the 3 years. His powerful shot and free kicks were on every coach's and player’s radar. Alen continued his soccer career at Campbellsville University as a four-year varsity letterman. He started his final three years as a defender. He competed twice in the NCCAA National Championship. He was named to the NAIA Mid-South All-Conference team. He finished his career at Campbellsville with a degree in Criminal Justice. Following his senior season, he was invited to participate in a professional soccer combine for scouts worldwide.
